About Gareth

Still and motion-led visual stories for destinations, brands and publications.

Finding the story in place

Every place, brand and project has a story to tell. My work is about finding the visual language for that story and shaping it into images, films and campaigns that feel specific to where they were made.

I’m Gareth Llewellyn, a photographer and visual storyteller based in Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, working with destinations, brands and publications across the UK and internationally.

My work moves between people, places and things because most good stories do the same. A destination is not only its landscape. A brand is not only its product. The story is often found in the relationship between setting, subject, detail, light and the moments in between.

Some projects are simple: me, a camera and time spent exploring what needs to be seen. Others call for concepts, production planning, motion, stills and a trusted creative team built around the scale of the brief.

Whether working for a tourism board, hospitality project, brand campaign or editorial commission, the aim is the same: to create visual work with clarity, character and a strong sense of place.
